KENSINGTON MORTGAGES ISSUED A NEW PUBLIC STS SECURITISATION AFTER BEING ABSENT FROM THE MARKETS FOR 2 YEARS
01 December 2023: Kensington Mortgages successfully priced a new securitisation, Gemgarto 2023-1, a £548m residential mortgage-backed securities transaction. The securitised loans were positively selected to include only owner-occupied, high LTV loans recently originated by Kensington.

KENSINGTON MORTGAGES ACQUIRED BY BARCLAYS BANK UK PLC
Barclays has acquired the business from funds affiliated with Blackstone Tactical Opportunities (“Blackstone”) and Sixth Street, which jointly owned the business since 2015. The acquisition allows Barclays to become one of the few major banks with a specialist mortgage offering.

RMS 32 Servicing & Legal Title Transferred
As of Monday 20th February, legal title and servicing for all loans currently held in the RMS32 securitisation vehicle has transferred from Kensington Mortgages to Mars Capital Finance Limited, who has been appointed as replacement Legal Title Holder and Mortgage Administrator.
